 Nathan John Feuerstein, who was born March 30, 1990 was a popular American rapper. Two EPs were released, I'm Free (2012) [3] as well as a self-titled EP by Capitol CMG in 2014. Mansion was his first album he released on a major label. His second studio record, Therapy Session (April 22, 2016), peaked at number 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have won numerous awards, among which include: the Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year (Therapy Session).NF gained mainstream recognition in 2017 with Perception; the album charted at number one in the United States and was certified platinum. The album's third single, "Let You Down" was ranked at number 12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 topped the charts across the globe as well as being a top 10 hit. Similar commercial success was achieved with The Search (2019). Feuerstein stated that rap was a form of escape in his early years. He would record songs using an karaoke machine and record instrumentals on one mic and his raps on the other. On the 29th of November of 2010, Feuerstein independently released his debut album Moments under his real name. His debut single, "Alone", came out on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith, songwriter and producer of the track, was the featured artist. Xist Music was attracted to Feuerstein's work in 2012. The 2nd of May, 2012 Feuerstein released his debut extended version of I'm Free that included the production of Profitt. The tracklist contained nine songs which included "Alone". The EP also featured the original version of Alone featuring Sean Simmonds. Xist teased that NF would be released however Feuerstein left the label because of a dispute. NF production was postponed. However, NF featured a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams, in the compilation album of the label, Move Vol 1. The singer released a single, "Beautiful Addiction", on November 4, 2013. The track again featured an appearance by Profitt and also vocals from Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
